WATERTOWN, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – A Harrisburg man died following a motorcycle crash south of Watertown on November 5.
The crash occurred around 2:41 p.m. when the driver, operating a 2012 Harley Davidson, lost control while heading north on 29th Street SE near Meadow Lake Road.
Emergency responders transported the man to Prairie Lakes Hospital with life-threatening injuries; he was later transferred to a hospital in Sioux Falls, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, with preliminary information still pending.
The victim’s name is not being released at this time, pending family notification.
