ONTARIO—Oregon State Police (OSP) are investigating a serious motorcycle crash that occurred on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 3:22 p.m. MST on Highway 95 in Annex, near the Oregon-Idaho border.
Authorities reported that a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was trailing a Toyota Tacoma pickup when the Tacoma’s driver abruptly slowed, causing the motorcycle rider to swerve to avoid a collision. The motorcycle subsequently crashed nearly head-on into another pickup in the opposite lane.
Both the rider and passenger suffered serious injuries and were transported to local medical facilities. The Toyota Tacoma is described as a lifted, white or gray, two-door four-wheel drive, possibly a 2015 model, with an Idaho license plate. It may feature a sticker in the rear window and was last seen heading north toward Weiser.
OSP is urging anyone with information about the vehicle or dash cam footage from the area to contact their Southern Command Center dispatch at 800-442-2068 or by dialing OSP (677) from a mobile phone. Please reference case number SP25-455662.
