ONA, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A two-vehicle crash on Route 60 in Ona resulted in one fatality and a hospitalization on Monday morning.
The incident occurred around 8:45 a.m., prompting the closure of both directions of Route 60, with authorities confirming the road may remain closed for several hours.
One individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was transported to the hospital. No passengers were aboard either vehicle.
A Medical Examiner has arrived to assist with the investigation, which is ongoing. Emergency crews are advising motorists to avoid the area.
