A motorcycle accident on a local roadway left one dead and another seriously injured on Thursday afternoon.
At 4:37 p.m., Paul Roth was operating a Harley-Davidson motorcycle behind another Harley-Davidson when he struck the back of that motorcycle, according to the New Jersey State Police. Both motorcycles overturned, and Roth’s bike veered off the road, hitting a road sign.
Both riders were ejected from their motorcycles. Roth was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other rider sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital. The New Jersey State Police are investigating the incident.
