FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTUU) – A bicyclist involved in a fatal collision with motorcyclist Aiden Cowles on July 19 has been identified, according to authorities.
The incident occurred at the intersection of 10th Avenue and the Steese Highway. Cowles, a 17-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Fairbanks Police Department confirmed detectives have spoken with the bicyclist. The investigation is ongoing.
Authorities did not disclose the bicyclist’s identity or indicate if any citations or charges have been filed.
