BEAVERTON, Ore. (KPTV) – A serious motorcycle crash near SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy on Monday night resulted in one fatality.
Beaverton Police reported the collision involved a Hyundai Elantra and a Ducati motorcycle near the Hwy 217 egress toward SW Canyon Road.
The motorcyclist, 25-year-old Joel Theodore Hanson of Beaverton, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Elantra driver sustained minor injuries.
According to investigators, witness statements and initial evidence indicate Hanson was traveling at high speeds and weaving between lanes prior to the crash.
