Police identify motorcyclist who succumbed to injuries nearly a month after crash in Colorado Springs.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A motorcyclist identified as 62-year-old David Joseph died on June 30, one month after a crash on I-25.

The incident occurred around 12:16 p.m. on June 6, when a motorcycle and another vehicle collided on northbound I-25 near Circle Drive, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).

Community members provided aid to Joseph, who was reportedly thrown from his motorcycle down an embankment east of the interstate. He was transported to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries.

Joseph succumbed to his injuries while in hospice care, marking the 30th traffic-related fatality in Colorado Springs this year.
