VERNON, CT — A motorcycle and car collided on Route 83 Tuesday, resulting in injuries to the motorcycle rider, according to Vernon police.
The incident occurred at 4:40 p.m. near the Manchester town line.
The car’s driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities, while the motorcycle operator was transported to Hartford Hospital with unspecified injuries, police stated.
Route 83 was closed for approximately one hour between Welles Road in Vernon and Taylor Street in Manchester for investigation and cleanup, officials confirmed.
