Redding, Chico, and Eureka unite to address regional challenges.

A motorcyclist died following a crash early this morning on Airport Road in Redding, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The incident occurred on March 16 at approximately 1:50 a.m. CHP stated that a 2020 Harley-Davidson was traveling northbound on Airport Road near River Valley Drive.

Authorities reported that the rider lost control while navigating a curve and collided with a concrete bridge railing on the east side of the roadway.

The rider was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to injuries later. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending family notification.
