Bradenton Man Killed in Manatee County Accident on 44th Avenue near 5th Street

Manatee County, Florida (August 25, 2023) – A 31-year-old Bradenton man was killed in a crash Wednesday night in Manatee County.

The tragic traffic collision happened on August 23 on 44th Avenue near 5th Street.

Per the report, the rider was travelling in the inside lane of 44th Avenue W. near 5th Street W.

An SUV at 44th Avenue W., driven by a 22-year-old Bradenton woman, turned left onto 5th Street W. and hit the motorcyclist.

The rider, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, died at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
