Local Man Dies in Motorcycle Accident in Salina
SALINA, KS — Riley Dean Faris, 30, of Salina, died unexpectedly in a motorcycle accident on October 17, 2025.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on a local roadway, but specific details regarding the location and time are not yet available. Emergency services responded to the scene, and a preliminary investigation is underway.
Faris was a graduate of Salina Central High School, Class of 2014, and worked as a machinist at Exline after starting his career at Hoff’s Machine and Welding. He was known for his passion for motorcycles and was a second-generation member of the Free Tomorrow Motorcycle Club.
Survivors include his parents, Tiny and Linda Faris; brother Colton Faris (Kelly); nephew Watson; and niece Caroline. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and an aunt.
A Celebration of Life Event is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on October 28 at the VFW Post 1432, located at 1108 W. Crawford St., Salina.
