Motorcycle Accident Claims Life of Salina Man
SALINA, KS — Riley Dean Faris, 30, died in a motorcycle accident on October 17, 2025. The incident is under investigation.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Highway 81. Faris was the sole occupant of the motorcycle, and authorities have confirmed that he suffered fatal injuries.
Emergency responders from the Salina Fire Department and EMS arrived on the scene. The roadway was temporarily closed to facilitate the investigation and removal of the vehicle. Towing services were requested at the scene.
Faris, a resident of Salina, was a machinist with a passion for motorcycles and a member of the Free Tomorrow Motorcycle Club. He is remembered for his quick wit and dedication to family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Tiny and Linda Faris, survivors include his brother, Colton Faris, and two nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Event is scheduled for October 28, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at VFW Post 1432, located at 1108 W. Crawford St.
