RIVERTON, Utah (KUTV) — A 17-year-old motorcyclist, Branson Davis, died following a crash on Bangerter Highway near 2700 West on October 3.
According to Utah Highway Patrol, Davis lost control of his motorcycle and entered a closed construction zone around 2:41 p.m., colliding with a barricade truck.
The impact resulted in fatal injuries. Emergency response teams were dispatched, but Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.
The high school issued a statement expressing condolences, stating, “Branson will be dearly missed. Our hearts are with his family, friends, and neighbors at this difficult time.”
