FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (7News) — A motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries in a crash on Fairfax County Parkway, authorities said.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:38 p.m. at the intersection with Ox Road, near Oak Hill. The male rider was transported to an area hospital, according to the FAIRFAX COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT (FCPD).
Traffic on northbound Fairfax County Parkway has been diverted onto Ox Road as police conduct their investigation, FCPD reported.
No further information on the number of vehicles involved or additional injuries has been confirmed at this time.
