ORONOCO TOWNSHIP, Minn. (KTTC) – A Rochester man was airlifted to the hospital following a motorcycle crash on Tuesday evening.
The Pine Island Fire Department responded to the accident report near the 700 block of Fisherman Drive NW around 8:10 p.m. Authorities confirmed that the man lost control of his motorcycle, leading to the vehicle going down an embankment.
Upon arrival, crews found the driver, a 54-year-old man, unresponsive and unconscious. Firefighters had to clear trees and utilize a rope system to retrieve him.
He was subsequently airlifted to St. Marys Emergency Room by Mayo One. The crash remains under investigation by local authorities.
