Sauk Rapids Woman Killed in Motorcycle Collision
SAUK RAPIDS, MN — A 27-year-old woman died Saturday afternoon following a motorcycle accident at Mayhew Lake Road NE and 10th Street NE.
According to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at 12:35 p.m. A 60-year-old man from St. Cloud was driving west on 10th Street when he stopped at a stop sign and entered the intersection, colliding with Meghan Moran’s motorcycle, which was heading south on Mayhew Lake Road with the right of way.
Moran was transported to CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The incident remains under investigation by authorities.
