UPDATED – 05/12/26 – Delaware State Police have identified 56-year-old Jeffrey Collins of Seaford, Delaware, as the individual who died in a motorcycle crash on Saturday night.
The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. on River Road, east of Woodland Ferry Road. According to authorities, Collins was riding a Yamaha motorcycle at a high speed when he failed to navigate a curve, causing the vehicle to skid off the roadway.
Emergency responders transported Collins to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries; he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
