SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A Texas man critically injured in a motorcycle crash in Shreveport has died, according to the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office.
Charlie Bogan, 52, of Denton, Texas, was involved in the single-vehicle incident that occurred shortly before 11 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, on Pines Road.
Bogan succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital at 7:35 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, according to officials.
Shreveport Police responded to the crash near St. Andrews Circle at approximately 10:30 p.m. on July 16.
Officers found Bogan with life-threatening injuries, and he was transported to the hospital.
Authorities reported a witness indicated the motorcyclist was southbound on Pines Road when he lost control, veered off the roadway, and struck a driveway culvert.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
