BOWMAN COUNTY, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A 19-year-old man from Pierre, S.D., died Sunday evening in a single-vehicle rollover crash, according to the North Dakota State Patrol.
The incident occurred at 7:50 p.m. on 158th Avenue Southwest. Authorities reported that a 2023 Toyota Tacoma was traveling southbound when it left the roadway, overcorrected, and rolled into the east ditch.
The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained fatal injuries. Road conditions were deemed good, with weather conditions reported as normal but smoky at the time of the incident.
The North Dakota State Patrol is investigating the crash, with support from the Bowman County Sheriff’s Office, Bowman Ambulance Service, Rhame County Fire Department, and Bowman Fire Department.
No lane closures or additional accidents were reported.
