Two South Dakota residents were seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on County Road 581 in Monroe County on Thursday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the incident occurred at 5:17 p.m., approximately five miles east of Stoutsville.
According to the crash report, a 2008 Honda Goldwing veered off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
The driver, a 71-year-old man, and his passenger, also 71 and both from Spearfish, SD, were airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
MSHP confirmed that both individuals were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
