A three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle occurred at 7:20 p.m. Sunday in Southington, leaving one motorcyclist injured, according to Connecticut State Police.
The injured motorcyclist, a 36-year-old Southington man, was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital by EMS. Authorities reported that he lost control of his motorcycle after sideswiping two vehicles, subsequently striking a metal beam guardrail and being ejected from the bike.
No other individuals involved in the collision sustained injuries. The motorcycle and the second vehicle that was sideswiped were towed from the scene, while the U-Haul involved was driven away.
Authorities stated that the incident remains under investigation.
