Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of 25-Year-Old in St. Johns County
A motorcycle crash in St. Johns County on Saturday night resulted in the death of 25-year-old Edward “Eddie” Pustynovich, according to authorities. The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. in the 1900 block of Four Mile Road.
Pustynovich was found at the scene suffering from serious injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after. Emergency services responded, but efforts to save him were unsuccessful. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation by local law enforcement.
Pustynovich had recently moved into a new apartment and was looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving with his girlfriend and building a car with his younger brother, Jeremiah. His mother, Dina Powell, described the shock of losing her son, especially after he had provided support to the family of a deceased friend just months prior.
As the family grieves, they have initiated a Gofundme campaign to help cover funeral expenses. Witnesses reported debris scattered across the roadway, prompting police to close off lanes during their investigation.
Further updates on the case will be shared as more information becomes available.
