St. Louis motorcycle crash leaves man in critical condition.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Local News Wire) – A motorcyclist sustained critical injuries following a collision on South Broadway Street early Friday morning.

The incident occurred shortly after 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of South Broadway and East Davis Street, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.

Authorities reported that a GMC Canyon, traveling southbound, attempted a left turn onto East Davis Street when it was struck on the right side by the northbound motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, a 50-year-old man, was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was transported to the hospital in critical condition, where he remains unstable.

The driver of the GMC Canyon was uninjured and is cooperating with investigators. Accident reconstruction units are on scene to examine the details.

South Broadway Street experienced lane closures as emergency services responded. This incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
