SCHAGHTICOKE, N.Y. (WRGB) — State Police confirmed a fatal motorcycle crash occurred on State Route 40 on Saturday evening.
Robert Koenig, 45, of Johnsonville, was pronounced dead at the scene after colliding with a car that was turning left onto State Route 40 around 7:40 p.m.
Authorities reported that Koenig was thrown from the motorcycle during the crash. The driver of the car was not impaired, and no charges have been filed.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, according to State Police.
