A multi-vehicle collision on I-95 in Palm Beach County left one dead and several injured early Thursday morning, authorities said.
The crash occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m. involving three vehicles, including a sedan and a pickup truck, on the northbound side near Mile Marker 63. A 42-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, two additional occupants from the pickup truck sustained serious injuries and were transported to local hospitals. The driver of the sedan suffered minor injuries.
Emergency crews closed two northbound lanes for nearly three hours while responders worked at the scene and cleared the wreckage. An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
