SYLACAUGA, Ala. – A Sylacauga man died in a motorcycle crash on Alabama 21 Monday, April 20, at approximately 10:50 a.m., according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
James R. Jones, 32, was operating a Kawasaki Z650 when he veered off the roadway near the 214 mile marker, striking several trees.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Authorities noted that ALEA State Troopers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
