PROVO, Utah (KUTV) — A 17-year-old on an e-motorcycle sustained critical injuries Friday following a collision with a vehicle in Provo.
The incident occurred shortly after 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of 600 West and Center Street.
According to Provo Police, the teenager was heading north on 600 West when the e-motorcycle was struck by a vehicle traveling east on Center Street.
The injured teen was transported to Utah Valley Hospital for treatment, where they remain in critical condition.
Authorities reported that the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
The cause of the crash is still being determined, with no additional details about the vehicles involved released at this time.
Lane closures were in effect during the response to the incident.
