Teen Motorcyclist Injured in Highway 60 Crash Near Wabasha, MN.

Wabasha, MN (KROC-AM News) – A motorcycle crash on Hwy. 60 west of Wabasha sent a 19-year-old to the hospital on Saturday evening.

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the incident at approximately 6:15 p.m. Noah Allen Raatz of Glenville was the lone motorcyclist involved in the crash.

Authorities said Raatz was traveling west when he lost control and struck a guardrail. He was wearing a helmet at the time and was not under the influence of alcohol, according to the State Patrol’s report.

Raatz was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries. The response included Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office, Wabasha Police Department, and Wabasha Ambulance.

Mayo One helicopter responded to the scene, but it is unclear if Raatz was transported by air or ground ambulance. No lane closures have been reported, and an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
