TANNER, Ala. (WAFF) – A Toney man died in a motorcycle crash near Tanner on Saturday evening.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported the single-vehicle accident occurred around 6:47 p.m. on U.S. 31 near Martin Line Road, approximately four miles southwest of Tanner.
The deceased was identified as 55-year-old Theodore J. Belvin. Authorities said he was thrown from the motorcycle after it left the roadway and struck a ditch, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are leading the investigation into the incident.
