Motorcyclist Injured in Three-Vehicle Collision on SR 507 in McKenna
McKenna, WA – A motorcyclist was injured in a crash involving two vehicles on State Route 507 on July 24 around 5:10 p.m., according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).
Thomas E. Teffeteller, 71, of Centralia, was riding a 2002 Honda motorcycle northbound when he collided with the rear of a 2018 Chevrolet Camaro driven by 56-year-old Theron J. Perry of Eatonville. The impact caused the Camaro to strike a 2015 Hyundai Sonata operated by 25-year-old Mykhailo Manoryk of Los Angeles, California.
WSP reported that Teffeteller was wearing a helmet and was transported to MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital with unspecified injuries. Perry and Manoryk were unharmed and both were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.
Authorities indicated that speed may have contributed to the accident, and Teffeteller received a citation. The incident remains under investigation by the WSP.
