Thousands Honor ‘Fallen 7’ Bikers with Ride in New Hampshire.

Motorcyclists Honor Seven Bikers Killed in New Hampshire Crash

LACONIA, NH — On July 6, approximately 3,000 motorcyclists participated in the “Ride for the Fallen 7,” honoring seven bikers killed in a collision last month.

The procession, involving around 4,500 riders, covered 90 miles from Laconia to Randolph, where a memorial service took place. The victims were affiliated with the Jarheads Motorcycle Club.

According to club president Manny Ribeiro, the turnout was unprecedented. “This is what happens when good people die,” he said.

Brian DeSimone, one of the event’s organizers, noted that the ride began as a small tribute but grew significantly due to community support. He cited the strong ties between the biker and military communities as a driving factor for the large attendance.

The crash that claimed the seven lives occurred when a pickup truck towing a flatbed trailer struck the group. The driver, 23-year-old Volodymyr Zhukovskyy, has pleaded not guilty to charges of negligent homicide and remains in custody.

The deceased were identified as Michael Ferazzi, 62, of Contoocook; Albert Mazza Jr., 59, of Lee; Desma Oakes, 42, of Concord; Aaron Perry, 45, of Farmington; Daniel Pereira, 58, of Riverside, RI; and Jo-Ann and Edward Corr, both 58, of Lakeville, MA.

Authorities are continuing investigations into the crash as the community mourns the loss of these individuals.
