ADELPHI, Md. — A fatal three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle occurred Tuesday night at the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Metzerott Road.
Officers responded to the scene at 11:26 p.m. after receiving reports of the collision. According to investigators, a motorcycle and one vehicle were traveling northbound on New Hampshire Avenue when a third vehicle attempted a left turn onto Metzerott Road, leading to the crash.
The motorcyclist, along with the driver and a female passenger of one involved vehicle, died at the scene, authorities said. The driver and passenger of the third vehicle were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
