Three individuals identified in fatal motorcycle crash in Prince George’s County.

Three people died in a late-night collision involving a motorcycle and two vehicles on Tuesday in Adelphi, Maryland.

According to the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD), officers responded around 11:25 p.m. to the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Metzerott Road. The crash involved a motorcycle and two cars.

The deceased motorcyclist was identified as Elvin Martinez Hernandez, 22, of Hyattsville. The driver and passenger of another vehicle, Reddick Speight, 61, and Terri Stringfellow, 62, both from Adelphi, were also pronounced dead at the scene.

Two occupants in a third vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. They are expected to survive.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the motorcycle and one vehicle were heading north on New Hampshire Avenue when a third vehicle, attempting to turn left onto Metzerott Road, struck them. An investigation is ongoing.

Authorities closed nearby roads for several hours, reopening them just before 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
