HOWELL, NJ — Three motorcyclists were injured in a collision on Route 9 near New Friendship Road on Tuesday night, according to Howell police.
The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. when a 33-year-old from Brick on a 2026 Suzuki GSX-R750 and two Toms River riders, aged 32 and 24, on 2011 Kawasaki ZX motorcycles collided, Police Chief John Storrow said.
All three riders sustained moderate injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Their identities were not disclosed.
The crash is under investigation; authorities encourage witnesses to contact Patrolman Kyle Bush at Howell’s Traffic Safety unit at 732-938-4575, ext. 2667.
