A serious crash involving three vehicles, including a motorcycle, occurred on I-80 eastbound near Vista Blvd. on Wednesday morning.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital with serious and possibly life-threatening injuries. No other injuries have been reported.
Eastbound I-80 was closed from Sparks Blvd. following the incident. Authorities announced that the roadway reopened around 8:15 a.m. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
