Tow truck driver arrested for DWI in fatal Capital Boulevard crash in Raleigh.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A crash involving a tow truck, two motorcycles, and a sedan left one dead and several injured early Friday morning, according to Raleigh Police.

Officers responded to the incident at 2:36 a.m. at the intersection of Capital Boulevard and Trawick Road. Authorities reported that Allan Guerrero, 39, was driving the tow truck south on Capital Boulevard when he allegedly ran a red light during a left turn, colliding with the two motorcycles and the sedan.

Chandler Hodge, 35, one of the motorcycle operators, was pronounced dead at the scene. Guerrero, the second motorcycle operator, and two occupants of the sedan sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital.

Following the crash, he was also charged with drunk and disorderly conduct and resisting, delaying, or obstructing an officer.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
