KENOSHA, Wis. – A four-vehicle crash shut down I-41 southbound near State Highway 142 on Saturday afternoon, May 30.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:10 p.m., resulting in several reported injuries. A second crash took place on the off-ramp following the initial collision.
According to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office, the extent of injuries remains unclear, and one additional injury was reported from the subsequent crash.
Traffic cameras operated by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation indicated that lanes reopened around 4:15 p.m.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash, and further details are pending from the Kenosha Fire Department and Somers Fire Department.
