THORNVILLE, Ohio – A 64-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash on Rush Creek Road in Perry County on Wednesday, July 29, shortly after 12:30 p.m.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Katherine L. Penn of Pickerington was riding south when she failed to negotiate a curve, veering off the roadway. Troopers reported that she struck a fence and was ejected as her motorcycle overturned.
Penn was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency responders included the Perry County Coroner’s Office, Reading Township Fire and EMS, and A-One Towing.
The crash is currently under investigation.
