Travis William Lincoln, 43, dies in motorcycle accident in Macksburg, Iowa, on August 29, 2026.
Lincoln was riding his motorcycle when the crash occurred, claiming his life unexpectedly. According to authorities, no other vehicles were involved in the accident, and no other injuries were reported.
Emergency responders from the Macksburg Volunteer Fire Department and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene. Lincoln was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Lincoln, who owned a gun shop and had worked as a dirt foreman for Elder Construction for 15 years, was remembered for his vibrant personality and deep love for his family. He is survived by his wife, Hillary; five children; and one granddaughter.
A visitation will be held on September 4, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Winterset Chapel. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for September 5, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at his home in Macksburg.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Farmers & Merchants State Bank to assist with funeral expenses and family needs.
