A 26-year-old motorcyclist died Wednesday evening in a crash on South Campbell Avenue in Tucson.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. when Cedricc Theanthonii Joe, traveling north, collided with a Kia SUV turning onto eastbound Cochise Vista, according to Tucson Police.
Authorities reported that Joe was riding above the 25 mph speed limit and had no headlamp at the time of the crash. He was not wearing a helmet and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The driver of the SUV was uninjured.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
