Two critically injured in motorcycle crash at Illinois-Wisconsin state line, officials report.

RANDALL, Wis. – Two motorcyclists are in critical condition following a crash at the Illinois/Wisconsin state line on Sunday, authorities reported.

At approximately 3:28 p.m., emergency crews responded to the 12500 block of Fox River Road after receiving reports of a motorcycle accident. Upon arrival, responders found two individuals injured on the roadway.

One victim, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained a significant head injury and was transported via helicopter to Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in critical condition. The second motorcyclist was taken to Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie and is reported to be in critical but stable condition.

The Kenosha County Major Crash Assistance Team is investigating the incident.

Officials remind the public to wear helmets while riding motorcycles and to exercise caution due to ongoing road construction in the area.
