HARTFORD — Two people sustained critical injuries in a motorcycle-car collision on Zion Street in Hartford on Friday evening, according to police.
The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. between Wilson and Bonner streets, said Hartford police Lt. Aaron Boisvert.
The motorcycle driver is in critical condition, while the passenger is classified as critical but stable, authorities reported.
Emergency responders from the HARTFORD FIRE DEPARTMENT provided medical aid at the scene. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities reported the roadway was partially closed for investigation and cleanup efforts, and tow assistance was requested for the motorcycle and the vehicle involved.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation by Hartford police.
