Traffic Collision on Highway 101 Injures Three Drivers

A multi-vehicle collision on Highway 101 near Main Street injured three people on Wednesday at approximately 4:15 p.m.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident involved four vehicles traveling northbound. Emergency responders, including the Santa Clara Fire Department and AMR, provided medical aid at the scene.

Authorities confirmed that two individuals sustained moderate injuries; one was transported to a local hospital. The other driver received on-site treatment for minor injuries.

The northbound lanes of Highway 101 experienced significant delays as emergency crews worked to clear the wreckage. Two vehicles required towing, and full lane closures were implemented until the scene was fully cleared.

An investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing, authorities said.
