SURFSIDE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Two individuals sustained injuries in a motorcycle collision with a pickup truck on Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 17 and 5th Avenue North, according to Surfside Beach Fire Chief David Nelson.
Both motorcycle occupants, a male and female, were transported to a local hospital for treatment, authorities confirmed.
Emergency response teams from the Surfside Beach Fire Department and local law enforcement arrived on the scene to manage the situation.
The crash resulted in temporary lane closures while the scene was cleared and the investigation commenced.
