RAUTAHAT, Jan 23: Two riders died early this morning in a motorcycle collision in Patharatol, Rajdevi Municipality-1.
According to authorities, the incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on the Gaur-Pipra inner road. A motorcycle with registration PR 2-03-018 P 3346, traveling from Gangapipra to Gaur, collided head-on with an Indian motorcycle registered as BR 30AF 2370, which was coming from the opposite direction.
The deceased were identified as Ashok Mahato, 30, from Pipra Bazaar, and Arbinda Mahato, 29, from Hajmini. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency responders from the District Police Office attended the scene, and both motorcycles have been towed away. There were no additional reported injuries.
The road was temporarily closed for investigation, and officials are looking into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
