Two Florida residents died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 129 in Blount County on Tuesday morning.
BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred around 10:15 a.m. when 59-year-old Eduardo Falcone lost control of his Harley Davidson Tricycle while navigating a sharp right curve.
Authorities said that Falcone was unable to maintain his lane, which led to the vehicle leaving the roadway and coming to rest on an embankment. Both Falcone and his passenger, 55-year-old Mariano Mandondo, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency responders from local agencies were dispatched to assist. The roadway was briefly closed for investigation purposes, and the incident remains under investigation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
