August 29, 2026 – Washington County, WI – A motorcycle crash at Highway 175 and Highway 164 in the Town of Polk early Sunday morning resulted in two fatalities.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred around 2:30 a.m. Responding agencies included the Slinger Police Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, Lifestar Rescue, and the Slinger Fire Department.
Both victims, identified as a 29-year-old woman from the Town of Polk and a 51-year-old man from the Town of Jackson, were pronounced dead at the scene despite lifesaving efforts.
Highway 175 was closed for approximately five hours while the Washington County Crash Reconstruction Unit and the Washington County Medical Examiner’s Office conducted their investigation. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the incident.
