August 29, 2026 – Washington County, WI – A motorcycle crash in the Town of Polk on August 29 at 2:30 a.m. resulted in two fatalities.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Slinger Police Department, and Wisconsin State Patrol responded to the incident on Highway 175 near Highway 164. According to authorities, both a 29-year-old woman from Town of Polk and a 51-year-old man from Town of Jackson were pronounced dead at the scene despite lifesaving efforts from Lifestar Rescue and Slinger Fire Department.
Roadway closures lasted approximately five hours while the Washington County Crash Reconstruction Unit and the Washington County Medical Examiner’s Office conducted an investigation. The incident remains under investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
