Two Washington state residents died in a motorcycle crash on westbound Interstate 70 in Montgomery County on Monday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred at 1:40 p.m. on August 3, near the 182.2-mile marker. A 2020 Freightliner truck was stopped in traffic due to a prior crash when it was rear-ended by a 2010 Harley-Davidson Street Glide motorcycle.

The Harley-Davidson motorcycle was completely damaged and towed by Skyline Towing. The Freightliner truck sustained moderate damage and was also towed by the same company.
Another trooper from the Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted at the scene. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
