SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Two people are dead following a motorcycle collision on North Marion Road Saturday evening.
The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. near the intersection of West Vision Drive, according to the Sioux Falls Police Department.
Initial investigations revealed that a 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided with a 2006 Mitsubishi Raider. One motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second succumbed to injuries at a local hospital.
The driver of the Mitsubishi sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. A third vehicle, a 2016 Chrysler 300, was involved but reported no injuries.
Authorities noted that additional details will be released during a police briefing on Monday.
